For this first one-'Song'-I painted the background, made a transparency of sheet music and layered that over a tissue paper collaged red heart. Made the wings out of 36 gauge aluminum and glued them to the back of the heart, then added it to the card with a piece of foam underneath so it sticks out a little. The words say, "There's a song in your heart...let it out."
And I love the colors in this second one! I got the man reading the book from Vicci, and just collaged things that he may be reading about all around him.
And Allison wanted to get in on the act, so here is her ATC for both Illustration Friday and Inspire Me Thursday. Not bad for an 11 year old's first ATC!
