All she wants is for me to finish her doll...there are just so many things on the fire right now...but, because I wasn't feeling guilty enough, yesterday she said, "It's just not fun playing tea party with a doll without a head." Yep...she can lay it on!
Now for the goodies!
In the Fat Quarter Swap News Department (I know, it's a little late, but, hey. Give a girl a break!) This is what I sent my partner...for her, some Amy Butler and a couple of coordinating fabrics to go with it, some Alexander Henry 'Skullfinity' fabric, and a little pink flower notepad. She also requested some boy items, so...I found a few things in my stash and added those in. Some train fabric, moons and stars fabric, some Cow Jumping Over the Moon fabric, and a couple of other blues; along with some train, plane and automobile buttons and some blue ribbon with suns on it.
This is what I got from her! Yummy Tracy Porter fat quarters, some vintage buttons, this gorgeous and oh so soft crocheted mohair trim that I don't think I'll ever use on anything...I'll just keep it close so I can touch it every so often! lol! And she made a beautiful card! Sometimes the cards are the best part of the package!
From the Fabricholics Annonymous group, I got lots of these great fabrics from Melissa, who swapped with me for some of my fabrics...but I didn't even think of taking pictures of my stuff when I sent it out. You just can't beat getting fabric in the mail!
And...I finally got "The Apron Book"! I have been wanting this for so long, and I finally just bought it...and I'm so glad I did! Of course, now I just want to make tons of aprons.
There has been a little fabric shopping too...
Looks like I'll be making some very pretty things!
Opps! Almost forgot this one last thing...
Could this be my doll quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap all wrapped up and ready to go out? Why, yes, I think it is! But...you'll have to come back to get that whole story, and pictures of what I made and the one I received. Don't worry though-it'll be worth the wait. I got the best quilt in the world!
