Look what I got!!!

Look what I got from Vicci!!! ( http://moonstarsandpaper.blogspot.com/ ) Sorry, but I don't know how to do the hyperlink stuff.

Anyway, she sent me a RAK...she told me this was coming and to watch out for it...I was afraid it might be painful...but she assured me it wouldn't be! And that RAK stands for 'Random Act of Kindness'. And kind she is! I got it out of the mailbox this morning...a big, fat envelope full of goodies. So full, in fact, that it takes over about half of my dining room table! I was going through everything with tears in my eyes, until I came to this one below:

Hmmm, just realized it didn't all come out. It's actually a woman standing there doing laundry saying, "It's been lovely...Really...But now I have to scream." Then I just busted out laughing!!! I'm seriously going to have to make a t-shirt out of this or something! I love it and I'm never going to give it away!!! Maybe I'll make a poster and put it out by my workbench. I just have to find a way to keep it around me!

Then there's this one:

Another favorite! You know what I would love to do with this? Go around town and try to get women to pretend like they are fighting, and do a collage with that. Or, hey...anybody reading this wanna send in a picture? That could be cool! Email me at artsmith_satx@yahoo.com There is an underscore there between artsmith and satx...artsmith_satx...

That could be a really fun project!

Anyway...Vicci, you are the sweetest of the sweet! Thank you so, so, so much!!! I've got something in mind I want to work on for you...hopefully I can get it finished in the next week, because it's going to be hard to work this weekend with everyone home.

Thanks again...it continues to amaze me just how supportive everyone in this whole 'mixed media community' everyone is!
