Logan's Apron/Tool Belt

A little friend of ours, Logan, is turning 4 today. His birthday party was yesterday, and...since he has been coveting Claire's little apron for months, I decided to make him one. Thought it should look a little more boyish though. When I saw this material, I knew it was perfect! And I used bias tape across the waist and for the ties...I thought that added to the boyishness also. I added another strip of fabric across the bottom and divided it into 3 pockets for all of his supplies...and we found a little tool set to add in with the tool belt.

I had Claire do a little modeling for me, so I could take a picture of it...

Then she started dancing! rofl!

And here she thought she needed to look like a man with big muscles (read: pecs)...I guess like a lumberjack or something! rofl!!!
Happy Birthday Logan! Hope you like it!

That IS soooo cute and a perfect project for a boy! Maybe I can get that together for my boys for Christmas (yes, I need that much time!). I used to have a nail apron out in the garage that they boys always wanted to wear. They called it their tool belt. That is a perfect present, and I'm sure he loved it.
